Upper Peninsula 2017 Student Research Symposium

The Upper Peninsula Local Section UPLS of the American Chemical Society ACS will host Student Research Symposium, Saturday, March 25th, 2017, 9:30 AM-2:30 PM, in the Atrium of New Science Building, NMU campus, Marquette MI. Undergraduate and graduate students from the Michigan Upper and Northeast Wisconsin are invited to submit poster abstracts https://goo.gl/forms/7IPbjm9Dm7u10tIh1

Purpose: To provide a venue for students to present their research in chemistry, chemical engineering, and related fields. This symposium will be an excellent opportunity for students, faculty, and the community at large to learn about the interesting chemistry and related research being conducted in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  The event is sponsored by the Upper Peninsula Section of the American Chemical Society

Intended Audience: Undergraduate and graduate students, pursuing research projects through externally-funded grants, guided independent study, or as part of a course. No Cost to Present!

Presentation Format: Poster presentations, maximum size 3 feet high x 4 feet wide

Awards: Posters will be judged and prizes will be awarded to the best posters. All presenters will receive a gift from the UP Local Section.
